HOMETOWN/BACKGROUND: I grew up in Azle, TX, a small town just west of Fort Worth, TX.
In school I actively participated in FFA, athletics, and rodeo.  I played volleyball, softball, ran track, showed lambs and chickens, served as FFA and rodeo team historian, rodeoed (barrel racing and pole bending), served one year as the high school rodeo team Queen and after high school gained a scholarship to rodeo for Hill College in Hillsboro, TX.
HOBBIES:  I love to play and coach softball.  I have coached my daughter from the time she began playing when she was 6.  I also enjoy traveling with family and friends.  I love the beach and the mountains, anywhere where I can disconnect and recharge by spending time with my loved ones.

FAVORITE QUOTE:  I have 2 actually.
"Security is mostly a supersition.  It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it.  Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure.  Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.  To keep our faces toward change and behave like free spirits in the presence of fate is strangth undefeatable." ~ Helen Keller
"The greatest gift you can give a child is unconditional love.  I love you, there is nothing you can do to make me not love you, so STOP trying." ~George W. Bush
